Our French 1 students have been learning French for 4 months. In this video, they give the students in France their names and ages. They also use their new skills to tell a bit about their likes and dislikes. |
Our French 2 students took the opportunity to tell students a few facts about American high schools in general and our school in particular. The students are speaking English to give the French students an opportunity to practice their new English listening skills. |
| In this video, our French 2 Honors students use a new verb tense to tell the students in France what they did during their winter vacation. They also tell the French students another thing they did in English so our new friends can practice their English listening skills. |
In this video, our French 3 Honors students tell what they did over Winter Break. Next, they sing a song they have learned in French and challenge the French students to learn how to sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" in English. |
Our AP French students show off their French skills by discussing their activities during Winter Break. They sing a song they learned in class and teach the French students how to sing "10 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed." |
Our French 2 Honors students received a response from their new friends in France. Students aged 13-15 who are learning English in their school in France responded to our introductions with introductions of their own. It was fun to see what kids in France are interested in, and it was reassuring to see that they are also struggling to learn a new language. We hope that this is just the beginning of our exchange! |
Our new friends in France sent us a challenge to learn the song "Lundi Matin." It's a children's song about the days of the week. Each class took a day of the week and this is the final result. Even the French 1 class joined in. Bravo! |
