Description
Introduction to Programming is a course designed to teach students  basic skills in programming.  Students utilize these skills to produce various features of Web Pages.  The language used in the course is JavaScript, a standard scripting language whose structure is similar to Java.  Java is taught in Intermediate Web Design and Computer Science Honors classes.  Areas of emphasis in this class are, basic HTML tags, JavaScript syntax, variables, looping, and conditional/branching statements.

The course instruction has a companion web site designed so students may read about each day's lesson from any location that has internet access.  If absent, students may keep current with the class by accessing and reading the lesson for the next class.
