Death Penalty

The Sovereignty party believes that the death penalty should remain in action for murders. If a crime committed is so heinous that people begin questioning the relief for the family of the victim, the death penalty is the only way to provide justice in such cases as these. Besides in Illinois, there have only been 11 cases taken out by death penalty since 1977. Less than 1% of all murders are sentenced to death.
