Heritage Grove PTO (HGPTO) provides many extra goods & services to benefit our learning community. Our annual membership is just $5 per family.We are hold two larger fundraisers each year—our Family Fun Night in October and our 4th annual Talent Show, to be held in March .
In addition to the above, we are also trying to fundraise passively—making fundraising as painless as possible but also benefitting Heritage Grove’s students, staff and parents. We currently have three passive fundraising opportunities that cost you nothing extra, but provide HGPTO with benefits. Read about each below:
Target: We have partnered with Target so that if you have a Target Red Card or a Target Visa/MC, every purchase you make benefits HGPTO. If you already have a Target Credit Card, make sure to sign up HG as a beneficiary to your shopping--USE ID# 114931. Please tell your friends and relatives too! You do not need to live in the area for HGPTO to benefit. Go to www.target.com to sign up.
Meijer: We have also partnered w/ Meijer in two ways: Meijer Credit Card and Meijer Community Rewards Card. The Credit Card works similarly to Targets: When you apply for a card, put Heritage Grove PTO (org # 398975) as your organization. If you would prefer not to have a credit card, you can still sign up for Meijer’s Community Rewards card, linking HG’s org number 398975 to it. Then, just show this card w/ every cash or debit purchase you make, and a percentage of your purchases will be sent back to our organization. Go to www.meijer.com to sign up or register our group to your card.
Simplified Scrip: We have improved this program to benefit you! Look for an order form when school begins. We will send out a paper order form at the beginning of school, but in the meantime, go to www.simplifiedscrip.com to begin the setup process. You can order gift cards from hundreds of merchants. Both you and HGPTO receive a percentage of your purchase. You then use the gift cards at your local merchants. For example, you purchase a $50 gift card for gasoline from BP, Shell, Speedway, etc. You then use the gift card at the gas station; you receive $50 worth of gas, but both you AND HGPTO will receive a percentage of your gift card purchase from simplified scrip.
