National Honor Society

Plainfield South High School Chapter

Welcome to Plainfield South's National Honor Society webpage. Our first NHS chapter began in the spring of 2003. Our mission, as NHS honorees, is guided by four principles:

1. To create enthusiasm for scholarship,

2. To stimulate a desire to render service,

3. To promote leadership, and

4. To develop character in the students of secondary schools

"I pledge to maintain high scholastic standing, to hold as fundamental and worthy an untarnished character, to endeavor intelligently and courageously to be a leader, and to give of myself freely in service to others. In so doing, I will prove myself worthy of a place in the National Honor Society."
