Presents:

The P.O.W.E.R Process

Mrs. Lemke’s Expectations:

Welcome to The P.O.W.E.R. Process! If you are going to be winners, you must develop your knowledge base, develop your skills, and develop your confidence. That is what this class is about! Together, we are going to work on study, reading, and technology skills.

HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN POWER:

  1. BE ON TIME. You are expected to arrive on time and begin immediately with the work that is posted on the board. It is designed for your fun, information, and/or review. During class, you should always be working on something and continue working until dismissed by the teacher. Working on other subjects is permitted with the teacher’s permission and only after all POWER work is completed. The teacher determines when class begins and ends, not the bell.
  2.

2. BE RESPECTFUL. You must have respect for yourself, your peers, the teacher, and your environment in order to reach your full potential. It is inappropriate to speak while the teacher or another student is speaking. Inappropriate noises or words are not allowed.

3. BE PREPARED. Books, binder, student handbook, paper, pens, pencils, and calculator should be brought to class everyday unless otherwise instructed.

4. PARTICIPATE. You should participate in order to learn and have fun. Participation is a major component to this class and, thus, a major component to your success in this class.
