I was born in the Chicago area and attended Downers Grove North High
School. I earned my degree in Biology from DePauw University in
Greencastle, Indiana. Early in my teaching career, I taught at Fenton
High School in Bensenville, Illinois and at Benet Academy in Lisle,
Illinois. After raising my two children, I returned to teaching
at Chaparral High School in
Scottsdale, Arizona. I earned a Master's degree in Secondary
Education from Northern Arizona University. In 2003,
I returned to the Chicago area and began working here at Plainfield
South.
